Terrible app. Constant crashes. Slow response. Cant keep kids attention. Waste of time and money for manequin.

Keeps crashing after picture being scanned. Waste of money buying mannequin and kid is not happy as well

Worst toy ever you cant even make a real cool animation with the toy like the comercial its not even worth the 25$ that you have to pay I could not even do a full wave and it takes so long to even color it in properly DO NOT BUY

Bad app, has made the easy animation studio that I bought a waste of money. Does not work

Even my 4 year old loves it! Really cool and def seems like the future of animation. Makes stop motion seem so old skool. Good stuff, Crayola!

First, I tend to only write reviews of bad products, so maybe there are folks out there that had a good experience and are not writing reviews. We didnt. The app must be big because we had to delete four games to make room. The scanning worked easy and fine (though the app navigation was confusing). But when we tried to use the figure to animate our character, the app was not functional. It kept telling us to rotate our device, over and over. Since our iPad Mini did not stand up well in the stand they provided, we had to jam toilet paper in there to make it stand upright. Each time it told us to rotate the device we had to deconstruct our jerryrigged set up. It really never allowed to capture more than one frame of video. This is a brilliant concept that just doesnt work well. I will check back on this app in the future because Im sure theyll work out the kinks since you can tell the folks that made this are trying to put a cool experience out there. They just need some more time. Go guys, get this right, you can do it!

My little cousin loves to color and this app just blew her mind! She’s been having fun with it all day, and I’m starting to feel like using it too. The use of this new technology is so cool.

Super fun, I had a great time with my little cousin putting together animations all afternoon. Great bonding activity!

I had fun up until the part with the mannequin. The screen froze on the part that said to rotate your device. So none of the animation worked, other than the template animations: blow kisses, break dance, etc. which was cool, but the same as the color alive coloring books. The mannequin is supposed to let you tell it how to move. That part didnt work for us. We have the iPad Air.

After the initial attempt all I can say is this thing is complete junk. First the images dont scan clearly or even completely - it doesnt register everything. More importantly the lame app cant even recognize its own mannequin so all the positions end up distorted and useless. You can get better still-stop animation with a Polaroid. Total FAIL! COME ON CRAYOLA - with products like this you should re-brand yourself as JUNKOLA.

The program lacks any function to scan and recognize the character that comes with the Easy Animation Studio toy. It has NO ABILITY TO SCAN THE TOY. DO NOT BUY THIS.

After a great deal of time and research. The app just doesnt recognize the mannequin properly. And the parts of the mannequin it did recognize the animation didnt show up on screen properly. Just a mess. How does something like this get onto shelves? I will not be buying any more of these crayola kits based on this experience. And have removed the make your own crayon kit from my sons Christmas list. Gave it 1 extra star because my son enjoyed playing with the pre made characters and animations for about 30 minutes. But I could have downloaded it for free. Instead of wasting 20 dollars on a junk phone stand, a coloring book and a doll that doesnt do any thing.

Wow. I bought the whole thing for $25.00, and wasted my precious money. Keeps crashing and not a good app anyway. Sure, the app was free, great. But still, dont get it. Return!!!

It is good but not as good of quality as it shows. What made me so mad was the fact that it doesnt scan good AT ALL. I tried to scan a cat thing I made, and it looked NOTHING LIKE IT REALLY DOES IN THE BOOK???? Same thing with the bear I made, AND EVERYTHING ELSE!! This is not really worth getting unless you wont customize A SINGLE THING.

Stay away. App wont even let me select option to scan nor allow me to select half the characters. Useless

This app is terrible. It doesnt work well. It is very limited in what it can do. Frustrating for kids instead of fun. Do not waste your time or money!!!!!

The app doesnt recognize the manaquin! It gets some limbs or arms and then has the other limb and arm in weird positions! Crayola please sort this out! The app and the gift we bought is useless if the software cannot even recognize manny. Very disappointed!
